This year the Scouts held their Summer Camp at Buddens Farm Camping and Activity Centre in Dorset, between Monday 26th July and Saturday 31st July 2004.

They visited Corfe Castle and had a guided tour of the castle, spent the day at Lulworth Cove and walked over the hill to Dordle Door. An evening was spent in Swanage and a day in Weymouth. Also they spent a day in Poole and on Brownsea Island; this involved a tour of the nature reserve and a visit to the site of the very first scout camp by Baden Powell. Finally they visited Splashdown Tower Park in Poole, which was a splashing time.

The highlight of the week was the visit by the Duke of Kent to Buddens, Dorset Scout Council were celebrating ten years of ownership of Buddens Farm and the Duke was invited to visit them and see Scouting in action.

All of the many Groups that were on site were asked to organize an activity, the 22nd set up a water slide tug of war which was great fun.
